Assignment 3 - Megan Woodrum

The topic of good versus evil is a tricky one, and its definitely not as simple as it is in the fairy tales. In the stories it seems to be a black and white scenario with an evil queen and a Prince Charming to fight her off.  A much more realistic take is in many shades of grey. But I do believe it exists. There are things, and people who do things beyond understanding in this world that are so dark and twisted. But more evil things come in the small things people do, in the selfish and malicious acts that people came to do. There are varying degrees of evil in the world, and there a good people who do bad things and bad people who do good things. I believe that for the most part humanity is good and kind, but slightly flawed. Those flaws are where the evil spurs from. The flaws are what can possibly twist people into the extreme that we call evil. An absolute good and evil does not exists. Good still wins out in real life like in the fairy tales, but because humanity is good at the roots, it's only our own mutations we have to fight.
