Technology has become an integral part of the everyday lives of most Americans. I am no exception. For much of my life technology has been intrinsic in most everything I do. This is both a blessing and a curse. Technology's positive influence in my life is found in almost all of my daily activities. Innovations like document cameras and Smart-boards greatly give to teachers new, more effective means to teach. I use computers at School and home. Because of the sheer number uses computers have they are now essential in most all we do. At home I use technology when I listen to music, use the computer for homework or fun, and even when I do math problems (calculators). Technology has indeed made many tasks much easier for me and provided many possibilities that would not have existed only a few decades ago. Communication is now easier than ever over the internet. We also have access to more information than we ever have before. Even though technology has some drawbacks, in the long term it has had a positive influence on my life.
