If that doesn't work, here it is: If one were to give Sid and Marty Kroft and Dario Argento copious amounts of acid and ask him to direct an episode of Scooby-Doo, the result would probably look a lot like "House." If that alone does not make you add Nobuhiko Obayashi's psychedelic horror opus to your must-watch list, then I'm afraid this may not be the movie for you, but for all others, you are in for a one-of-a-kind experience. I have watched hundreds, maybe thousands, of movies in my life, and not one had measured up to "House" in terms of overall enjoyment. Giving any more information would spoil the fun, but wether you're a hardcore film buff who thinks they've seen it all, or are just looking for something crazy to watch with some friends late at night, this movie will do just the trick, and more. As far as strange and surreal films go, none will ever live up to "House."
