Assignment 8- Brittany

Fears: Falling off a boat (weird I know), drowning, not leaving a mark on the world
Annoyances: when people joke about things I find important
Accomplishments: my soccer history, the amount of books I’ve read, falling off a roof and being completely okay (I’m really proud of that one)
Confusions: people in general
Sorrows: procrastination (so. much.)
Dreams: become a surgeon, own a bookstore
Idiosyncrasies: always reading
Risks: I should take more of them
Beloved Possessions: my books, typewriter, my dog, netflix (I can’t be the only one thinking this)
Problems: definitely procrastination, I tend to stay up too late a lot

I will expand on my beloved possessions, specifically my typewriter. To be honest, I rarely use it but I just can’t get over how cool it is. It seems like a waste but I mostly make a lot of flashcards with it. I’m not really sure why I’m so attached to it. It’s incredibly frustrating to type on because it is such a pain to fix mistakes. I guess that makes you think a bit more about what you’re typing though because it’s so much harder to take it back, which is a good thing. Then, everything looks so much nicer when it’s typed on a typewriter. So there’s that. It’s also just kind of all around reliable. I don’t have to worry about it getting a virus or deleting all of my work or the battery dying. If I want to type one letter in the left hand corner I can do it without worrying about margins or anything. It has its limitations, but it is also free of many.
