Assignment 16 Siobhan

"This is the End" is a movie I recently watched last night. It's a star studded movie with actors such as James Franco, Seth Rogan, and Jonah Hill who play themselves. The main character is an old friend of Seth Rogan who visits him in LA. Rogan takes him to a Hollywood party where he finds everyone there to be pretentious and petty. To his chagrin the apocalypse strikes and he's forced to survive with the actors in James Franco's mansion. 

Overall the movie was just alright. I had much higher expectations for a movie with that many A class stars. A lot of the script felt forced or the actors were suppose to improv and it was done terribly. I was also expecting to laugh a lot more. To say the least the movie fell short. On top of that, the plot wasn't very consistent. The main character appears to be a hipster type person who then is revealed to be somewhat religious? It's very random and some parts or scenes are added just to makes the plot work. But it doesn't.
