I watched Catching Fire, and here is my review.

Catching Fire was an amazing movie overall. There was very good character development and some nice action scenes, as well as bringing up many deep discussion worthy topics such as the fight for freedom in the districts, and the totalitarianism of the capitol. Surprisingly relate-able, the references to hunger in the districts, compared to the capitol really made you think about our society as well. The capitol is always scene is a bad light throughout the movie, but are we really so different? Those are the kinds of questions a great movie has running through your mind while you're watching it. The main fault in the film is that it is 2.5 hours long, while, it was necessary to have more than a few slower scenes, there were too many, and that stuck out to me, easily 10-20 mins could be cut out from dragged out scenes not contributing to the plot.
