Assignment 12- Genghis

(The life of my bike)
I was very excited for my new home, I thought of all of the fun I was going to have with my new owner, riding through the park occasionally on summer days, maybe ride to school every now and again when the weather permits. However my hopes were soon crushed. I arrived at my new home on a dark, rainy evening, and rather then waiting until the next day to bike around, my owner decided to take me out on that cold, wet, dark night. This foreshadowed the rest of my time with my owner. Every day we go to swim practice, it hardly matters what the weather is. When it's cold, my owner simply puts on a sweater, when it's raining, he puts on a rain jacket, what do I get to protect me from the elements? Nothing. My owner is fairly reckless too, throwing caution into the wind, he often bikes much to quickly down certain hills, and even tries to draft off of cars. Although I feel I was used way too far into the winter, I feel as if my current situation could be even worse. Now that the weather is too cold for even my owner, I am confined to solitude, in this lonely, dark, cold shed.
