Assignment 14 - Omer

I hated Thanksgiving.
We were planning on spending the day with friends in Indiana, so we got the road early in the morning. When we're an hour or so away from our destinations, my parents turn around and announce to us that we're gonna skip our destination and head to Canada FOR NO FLIPPING REASON. It wasn't a rational decision. As we're looking for the right exit, my dad turns to my mom and says pretty much this, "Wanna go to Canada and visit people we haven't seen or heard from in 15 years, people who might not even be alive right now?" To this my mom replies "sure," and just like that my thanksgiving break was ruined. And as for our thanksgiving dinner? We had warm, toasty, fresh, and perfectly fried, McDonald chicken nuggets. They tasted just like chicken.
Best part is, we spent maybe 3 hours in Canada until my mom "got tired of being in another country." That reasoning, along with the rest of my glorious trip, drove me insane.
