Assignment 24- Thomas Ueland

People say that junior year will test your limits, and that it will either make or break you because of the amount of work and stress. Freshman and sophomore teachers remind you of the arduous junior year often because if you don’t do their work well, then you won’t be prepared for the hell that is junior year. My experience was not as stressful as everyone made it out to be, but part of that could be due to the fact that I expected the worst. It was definitely harder than previous years, but not to the extreme that I thought it would be. The biggest change for me was my mindset; I started to think of college and the long term more seriously than I had before. Sure, Ms. Barbour talked about it sophomore year, but college back then seemed like such a long time away, and it was tough to really think about what I wanted to do after high school as a 15 year old. This year, college has been a big part of my life, and will be an even bigger focus next year when people have to make their final decisions.
