Assignment 24- Kaylyn Torkelson

Junior year was long. There's no way around that. With the stress of applying to summer programs (like GSA and GSP), the looming shadow of the Senior mentoring project, trying to make sure you have everything you need for college apps next year, and the added strain of taking more AP tests than I was obviously ready for, I'm glad its over. Or at least almost over. I forget every single year that second semester starts on a high note of stress and only increases until the last day of school. I can count not exploding as one of my successes this year, and really wanting to as one of my failures. I've learned that if you're going to take the AP Calc BC test, you should probably not slack off the entire second semester. I'm not the kind of person who takes risks, and the mistakes I've made are too numerous to count.
My summer sounds like it will be composed of GSP for five weeks, and then doing absolutely nothing the rest of the time. (Because I'm lazy.) All I want for my senior year is that it's memorable (in the good way) and not so stressful. I don't know how I'll reach that goal. But I'll figure it out as I go. That hasn't failed me yet.
