Assignment 24- Genghis Goodman

Every one has told me junior year is the hardest year of your highschool career. Therefore going into junior year with 5 AP classes, and swimming 20 hours a week I was a little scared and unsure of how it would unfold. However it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. I was lucky enough to have very understanding teachers, who caught me up on work I may have missed because of a swim meet, and a very understanding coach, who allowed me to put my schoolwork first. However junior year is the hardest year because of the need to prepare for college as well. This year we are expected to have a list of colleges we plan on applying to and we have to take standardized tests. Thankfully, Mrs. Barbour helped me with that. I would consider junior year to be a success, I achieved good grades in a schedule I consider moderately hard, I dropped a lot of time in a lot of events for swimming, and I feel well prepared for college applications. Over the summer I plan on working at woodland pool and the Lancaster aquatic center. I am really excited for these jobs, because as any lifeguard working at the right pool will tell you, lifeguarding is the best job for teenagers (everybody apply for woodland, we're short on guards!).
